NEDRA AGM – 15 April 2026

NEDRA’s AGM on 15 April 2026 looked back over a busy year for the association and ahead to the next key stages for Edenbridge, including Regulation 19 of the Local Plan, river water quality monitoring, and the National Day of Action.

The meeting focused on the following things:

  • NEDRA’s work over the past year and the importance of residents staying informed and involved.
  • The Treasurer’s report, including NEDRA’s 2025/26 income and expenditure, the 2026/27 budget, and the need for continued donations and support.
  • AGM business, including approval of the previous minutes and election of officers.
  • The Regulation 19 Local Plan process, the four tests of soundness, and the some of the key concerns NEDRA will focus on.
  • Water infrastructure concerns, including wastewater capacity, sewage discharges, and the need for independent evidence before further growth is planned.
  • The River Eden water quality monitoring project, including nutrient pollution, E. coli testing, volunteer work, and future testing ambitions.
  • A guest presentation from Dr Ria Woodfield of SES Water on drinking water quality, catchment management, and protecting water quality at source.
  • The National Day of Action on 18 April 2026.
  • Member Q&A and ways residents can help NEDRA’s work continue
